INSB Class receives authorization by IRI-Marshall Islands for yachts survey and certification.
Effective 1st January 2019, INSB Class is pleased to announce that has been delegated with authority as a Recognized Organization by the Republic of the Marshall Islands with respect to the performance of classification and statutory certification, plan review, surveys, audits, and inspections for yachts registered in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
The granted RO authorization enables INSB Class to perform surveys, audits, approvals and relevant certification for SOLAS, MARPOL, ITC, ILL, ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC, BWM instruments as well as under other IMO Conventions and Codes, to yachts registered or intended to fly the flag the Republic of Marshall Islands, for practically any type or size of yacht, either for private use, limited charter or full commercially operated, inclusive of passenger yachts.
Besides advancing the total number of Flag delegations entrusted to INSB Class (currently totaling to 33), the recognition and approval by Marshall Islands Registry is seen as an important milestone on the strategic development of the INSB Class within the yachting industry.
