Quality traction at key Port State Control Regions
Port State Control continues to play an important role in ensuring the safety and success of ships around the globe. INSB Class is firmly committed to advancing safety regulations and pursues continuous performance improvement in the main Port State Control regions through a vigilant approach.
Through its focused effort and unwavering commitment for safety, INSB Class advanced further its overall Port State Control performance during 2022.
TOKYO MOU
Year 2022
The Port State Control Authorities of Asia-Pacific region (Tokyo MoU) have released on 8 May 2023 their Annual Report 2022 together with the 3-year performance listings 2020-2022 for Recognized Organizations and Flag States, respectively.
Based on the released PSC information, in 2022, INSB Class received 15 Inspections and zero (0) RO-related detentions (see table 06-page 31 of Tokyo MoU Annual Report 2022).
Similarly, to years 2020 and 2021, INSB Class maintained its performing quality also in 2022, with no RO-related detentions being attributed.
Performance over the 3-year rolling period 2020-2022
For the Tokyo MoU rolling period 2020-2022, INSB Class recorded a total of 43 inspections with zero (0) RO related detentions being attributed (see below table 12 of Tokyo MoU report).
Note:
INSB Class not reflected in the RO performance table 2020-2022 (Table 12, pages 44 and 45 of the Annual Report 2022) since has less than the required minimum number of inspections (i.e., ROs involved in 60-179 inspections with zero detentions are not included in that table)

PARIS MOU
Year 2022
At its 56th meeting, the Paris MoU Committee approved the inspection results for 2022 and adopted new performance lists for Flag States and Recognized Organizations (ROs). These lists took effect on July 1, 2023.
According to the published Paris Mou Annual Report 2022, within year 2022, INSB Class was subject to 186 inspections and one (1) RO-related detention during the past operating period.

Performance over the 3-year rolling period 2020-2022
Regarding the triennial 2020-2022 rolling performance overview, having recorded 485 Inspections, two (2) RO-related detentions and an overall excess factor of -0.63, INSB Class met the RO criteria for its fleet to qualify as Low Risk Ships under the Paris MoU inspection regime, valid for the period: 07-2023 / 06-2024.

BLACK SEA MOU
Year 2022
The Port State Control Authorities of Black Sea region (Black Sea MoU) have released on 3 July 2023 their Annual Report 2022 together with the 3-year performance listings 2020-2022 for Recognized Organizations and Flag States, respectively.
Based on the released PSC information, in 2022, INSB Class received 224 Inspections and zero (0) RO-related detentions (see table 11-page 22 of Black Sea MoU Annual Report 2022).
Similarly, to years 2020 and 2021, INSB Class maintained its performing quality also in 2022, with no RO-related detentions being attributed.
Performance over the 3-year rolling period 2020-2022
For the Black Sea MoU rolling period 2020-2022, INSB Class recorded a total of 566 inspections with zero (0) RO related detentions being attributed (see RO Inspection Deficiency and Detention Data 2020-2022 within the Report).
