INSB Class President & Managing Director Mr. Pantelis Chinakis Glaras, was privileged to have contributed as a panel speaker to the 3rd Panhellenic Yachting Congress held on 23 & 24 February 2024, addressing ship and yacht building, design and refit activities in Greece, where together with expert fellow panelists representing a diverse sectors of our marine industry, participated to a stimulating and insightful discussion on opportunities and prospects within the ship building sector.
The panel moderator, Manos Roudas, is to be commented for his excellent coordination of the panel discussion across numerous important layers and topics. The collective knowledge and experience of the co member-panelists helped uncover a variety of directions and elements that aim to pave the way for a revitalised future in the yachting building industry in Greece.
George Pateras, President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping deserves special recognition for his sincere endorsement of efforts to create a more competitive environment throughout the nation’s maritime industry.
The undoubted broad success of the 3rd edition of the Panhellenic Yachting Congress 2024, reaffirmed the significance of its objectives and once more demonstrated the synergistic influence that Greek yachting possesses, encompassing its touristic dimension, maritime heritage, and technological capabilities.
Sincere appreciation to the creative duo of Trinity Events, Kalliopi Efstathiou and Sevi Efstathiou as well as to BoatsAdvisor – Hub & Events and Anastasios Konstantaros for hosting and organizing such a successful event and for their hospitality but most importantly for creating a versatile “think-tank” for yachting professionals to meet and discuss annually strategies for pushing Greek yachting to new heights.
As always, genuine acclaim is extended to Viki Aggeliki Chantzi, the yachting congress anchor-woman, for her talented presentation with her unique skills and qualities.
