Service Context

We deliver bespoke survey, classification and safety certification services for small, large and super yachts, either private or engaged in commercial trade, supported by a growing service network with dedicated yacht experts and with cost leadership.

The INSB Class Yacht Survey and Certification Program is a comprehensive suite of services which provides expert marine surveyors to evaluate the structural and mechanical condition of yachts and certify their compliance with international safety and environmental standards.

Our dedicated “Rules for the Classification and Construction of Yachts” support all phases of the yacht’s lifespan and are applied for assessing yacht’s hull strength and integrity, propulsion and steering systems, electrical installations, pollution & firefighting protection systems as well as other essential operational components.

By maintaining a yacht in class – either used for recreational purposes or fully commercial- may raise asset value, enhance operations, satisfy insurance policies and complement re-sale purposes.

Supplementally, we can provide comprehensive advisory services to builders, designers and owners of yachts under construction. Such services also extend to cover yachts conversion projects or retrofits to meet desired design needs as well as operational requirements.
