Diplomatic reception @Indonesian Embassy

Delighted to have attended the diplomatic reception earlier today at the Intercontinental Athens in honour of the 78th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day, hosted by Mr. Bebek Abdul Kurnia Nugraha Djundjunan, the Ambassador of the Indonesian Republic to Greece.

Greece was one of the first countries in Europe to recognize the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia on December 29, 1949. Through a diplomatic note dated March 22, 1950, Indonesia officially established relations with Greece.

Let’s cherish the freedom we have today and work jointly towards a brighter tomorrow.
