PMA has issued attached letter No. 109-01-014-DGMM-SEG encouraging all ROs during the annual company ISM audit as well as during the intermediate vessel ISM audit to check if the following documents are valid:

• Certificate of insurance or other Financial Security in respect of Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage
• Certificate of insurance or other Financial Security in respect of Liability for the removal of Wrecks
• Certificate of insurance or other Financial Security in respect to Ship owners’ Liability as required under MLC, 2006
• Declaration of Company Operator and DPA, duly endorsed by PMA, as per MMC-176

INSB Auditors shall proceed with the above checks during the ISM audits and in case any from the above documents found expired/missing or not reported/endorsed by PMA (for Company/DPA declarations) a relevant NC shall be issued and reported accordingly to PMA.
